We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Birmingham. This Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to develop their career within a busy automotive environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for maintaining high standards of workmanship, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.

Competitive basic salary of approximately £30,000, based on experience and qualifications

OTE of £35,000+ inclusive of bonuses

Full manufacturer training and ongoing professional development

Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am–5:00pm

One in three Saturdays paid at time and a half

Career progression opportunities within the companyDuties as a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct routine servicing and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines

Diagnose and repair mechanical and technical faults efficiently and accurately

Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional work requirements

Prepare used vehicles for sale, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Complete work within specified timeframes, ensuring high standards of quality

Maintain accurate workshop documentation and job records

Collaborate with team members to promote a productive workshop environment

Adhere to all health and safety protocols and manufacturer repair standardsRequirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or busy automotive workshop

Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and repair skills

Experience with servicing, repairs, and used vehicle preparation

Methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving

Ability to work independently and efficiently xjnqpsq as part of a team

A valid MOT Testing Licence is desirable but not essential
