Motor Vehicle Technician

Burton

£28000 - £37,000 Salary (Depending on qualifications)

Overview:

C&B Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Burton. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components according to specifications

- Use power tools and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks

- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot problems

- Repair or replace faulty parts and components

- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repair procedures

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role preferred

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment

- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

- Experience with equipment repair and maintenance

- Welding experience is a plus

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
