Job Title: Vehicle Prepper

Location: Blackbushe

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week (5 x 8-hour shifts between Monday–Sunday, 7:00am–7:00pm)

Salary: £36,041 per annum (£17.28 per hour)

Start Date: ASAP – Immediate interviews available

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join a busy bodyshop team. You will play a vital role in preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring a high-quality finish, working on a wide range of vehicles from small cars to light commercial vehicles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Bodyshop Technician / Prepper looking for a stable role with consistent hours and excellent pay.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare vehicles for paint, including masking, sanding, and priming panels.

* Ensure all prepared panels are free from defects before painting.

* Work within approved paint and dry goods processes to produce a high-quality finish.

* Check all work prior to starting to ensure it meets required standards.

* Complete parts requisitions accurately.

* Support the bodyshop team in other areas where needed.

* Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

* Maintain positive and professional working relationships with colleagues.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Vehicle Prepper.

* Full valid UK driving licence (manual & automatic) – essential.

* Must be over 21 years old and hold a licence for a minimum of 2 years (insurance requirement).

* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

* Willingness to support junior technicians where needed.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

* A strong passion for the motor industry and pride in delivering quality work.
