We are currently advertising on behalf of an Automotive independent garage, who are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor to assist in their busy Service Department in the Haslemere area.

Our Motor Trade Client is seeking a Service Advisor who is high performing and can provide only the best level of customer service.

Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and schedule vehicle service and repair appointments with precision.

Liaising with Technicians: Interpret customer concerns and communicate effectively with workshop technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair work.

Providing Updates: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle, including any additional repairs required, and provide clear, transparent explanations.

Cost and Time Estimation: Accurately estimate repair times and costs, ensuring customers are fully informed before work begins.

Administrative Duties: Manage service bookings, maintain accurate records, and process invoices using the garage’s management systems.

Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Workshop Coordination: Track vehicles through the repair process, ensuring timely completion and quality control.

Upselling Opportunities: Identify and recommend additional services or products that benefit the customer, boosting revenue for the garage.Requirements of the Service Advisor:

A working experience within a Service Advisor role

The ability to upsell on service work and service plans

Customer Focused and an excellent communicator

Familiarity with using Motor Dealership Database SoftwareDuties of the Service Advisor role:

Professionally communicate with customers about service and repair work required on their vehicle

Produce Job Cards on in-house computer systems

Update Customers and Vehicle Records

Prepare and complete Invoices

Advise Customer on estimated costs of repairs and timescales of work due to be completed

Other Ad-Hoc Duties as the role requiresFor your hard work, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000.
