Description
Morson Talent is looking for four contractors to support a busy Role Equipment Bay within a military aerospace maintenance environment.
Location: Brize Norton
Rate: £33.00 per hour Umbrella / £24.66 per hour PAYE
Contract type: Ongoing contract
Your Role:
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced team maintaining and servicing critical survival and role-specific aircraft equipment. You'll be working under the guidance of the Role Bay Coordinator and Head of Workshops to ensure operational readiness, safety, and compliance across a range of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Servicing chemical oxygen generators in line with OEM procedures
Inspection, repacking, and maintenance of life vests and survival equipment
Accurate record-keeping and input into maintenance management systems
Application of corrosion prevention compounds on relevant components
Daily servicing of Class 3 role equipment
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and procedural standards
Supporting workplace organisation and continuous improvement (6S)
Essential Requirements:
Completed apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance, survival equipment, or equivalent
Experience maintaining survival and/or role equipment
Ability to read and follow technical publications and maintenance procedures
Comfortable using digital tools and maintenance software
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
Background in military MRO or defence aerospace environment
Experience with A400M or similar transport aircraft
Awareness of Human Factors, FOD prevention, and tool control best practices
