PSV – HGV Mechanic - Fitter – Permanent Position

Location: Mansfield

Salary:

Basic: £34,000 per annum

Overtime Rate: £18.88 per hour

About the Role:

Venatu Recruitment Group is partnering with our client in the Mansfield area to recruit a permanent PSV Mechanic/Fitter. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Shift Fitter to join our client in Mansfield.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles, ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably every day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and repair of PSV vehicles

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs

• Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road

• Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance

• Supporting the transition to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies

Guaranteed 38 hours per week

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV/LGV, truck, automotive, plant, rail, or farm machinery)

Ideally qualified to one of the following:

PCV or HGV City & Guilds

BTEC

NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV

Time Served
