Supportive, team-oriented working environmentDuties of the MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician:
Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations, ensuring all testing requirements are met
Carry out mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyre fitting
Use alignment machines and accurately interpret readings to make necessary adjustments
Perform vehicle inspections and complete detailed inspection sheets following company procedures
Identify and communicate additional faults to customers and management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulationsRequirements needed from the MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician:
Level 3 Mechanics qualification or a valid MOT Licence
Proven experience working in a professional workshop environment
Knowledge of tyre fitting, brakes, cambelts, clutches, and exhaust systems
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Self-motivated with a focus on quality and attention to detail
