Manufacturing Programmer

Location: Broughton

Shift Pattern: Nightshift - 12‑hour shifts, 7pm-7am (3 on / 4 off)

Contract: Long‑term (extension highly likely) (Inside IR35)

Clearance: BPSS (carried out as part of onboarding)

Rate: £27.75 p/h PAYE | £36.70 p/h Umbrella + 38% shift uplift

Are you an experienced NC Programmer looking to step into a fast‑paced, technically engaging environment? This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a major aerospace production facility, supporting cutting‑edge manufacturing lines on one of the industry's largest commercial aircraft programmes.

You'll play a hands‑on role in ensuring production flow, solving problems lineside, and developing highly technical NC programs that directly support live build activity. No two nights are the same - if you enjoy troubleshooting, improving processes, and seeing your work make immediate impact, you will thrive here.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing expert lineside support within a high‑volume aerospace manufacturing station.

Creating, validating and optimising NC programs in accordance with engineering and manufacturing requirements.

Performing numerical simulations, supporting jigs & tool specifications, and integrating programs into DNC systems.

Collaborating with Production, Quality and Work Prep during demonstration and validation stages.

Driving continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.

What You'll Bring

NVQ Level 4 / HNC or equivalent qualification.

Background in Manufacturing Engineering or NC Programming.

Experience using CATIA and SAP (highly desirable).

Understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes (beneficial).

A proactive, solutions‑driven mindset and ability to work effectively onsite.
