Diagnostic TechnicianBasic Salary: Up to £36,000 + Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week | 1 in 3 Saturdays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and reputable automotive business in Wakefield. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving and working with the latest diagnostic technology.
The Role:
As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for:
·Carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
·Diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical faults
·Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify issues
·Working collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure efficient turnaround times
·Maintaining high levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
The Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
·Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
·Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
·Strong diagnostic ability across electrical and mechanical systems
·A proactive attitude with a desire to develop, progress, and gain further qualifications
·A full UK manual driving licence (subject to driver checks)
