Customer Service Account Manager

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well established and successful automotive business based in Southampton, currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Customer Operations Account Manager to join their team.

This is a customer focused operational account management position, rather than a sales role.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts, acting as their main point of contact.

Oversee the complete vehicle logistics process, from port arrival and vehicle preparation through to final delivery.

Coordinate with sales, operations, transport, and finance teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Monitor customer orders, resolve operational issues, and ensure agreed service levels and deadlines are achieved.

Provide regular customer updates, weekly performance reports, and account review meetings.

Maintain accurate customer records and operational information using CRM and ERP systems.

Previous experience in customer service, account management, logistics, or operational coordination is essential.

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The Package:

£38,000 - basic salary, on target earnings of £40,000, paid as an annual performance bonus. Plus fantastic company benefits.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, no weekends. xjnqpsq
