Make a Difference in a Community that Matters
We are looking for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, working within the Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team. Your Role
*
Be the key point of contact for residents impacted by major housing projects.
*
Provide empathetic, face-to-face support and regular updates on refurbishment works.
*
Coordinate temporary or permanent relocations where necessary.
*
Work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure minimal disruption to residents.
*
Handle complaints, feedback, and service improvements through multiple communication channels.
*
Support vulnerable residents and ensure tailored services meet their needs.
What You’ll Need
*
Experience in housing, customer service, or resident engagement.
*
Knowledge of major works processes and social housing policies.
*
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and digital.
*
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*
Confidence working with IT systems
*
Strong understanding of health & safety and equal opportunity principles.
*
Flexibility to attend some meetings outside of core working hours.
