Posting for 14+ yearsSleepwell Luxury Heated Mattress Cover: Single electric blanket
Inverkip, Inverclyde
£40
Description
Bought in 2014 as I bought this brand for all my beds (Very cold house in winter)
2 doubles
1 king
1 superking
&
This £90 single
This was in the only guest room that was never used more than twice 4 years it was on a bed
So I turned that room into a wardrobe room/dressing room in 2018
This has been in a storage bag ever since 2018
I love these because they also act as super thick Mattress Protectors and they look like regular mattress protectors too with a net bed skirt that's approximately 30cm rather than elasticated straps
However
This has the annoying thing/issue that if you lay on the bed while it's heating at highest setting number 6 you can break the what are very hot wires because that's a warm the bed setting only
I broke my SK it was replaced by dreamland and I broke it again out of 3 year warranty (sat on bed when at 6 to answer a text)
You know it's broke because handset comes on for 3 seconds then flashes blue so that indicates break in the wire (technician at Dreamland told me this)
My mum broke her double which I replaced with the next generation of this
That issue I think was fixed via new types of controller
But I've now changed my brand to home front now because It heats feet separately
Still have this in the king that's been well used over 11 years
Have shown some images so you see what the packaging was and the newer version single that's sold to today I do not have the original packaging
The
Replacement model for this are £99 & I know The controller I can sell alone for at least £25
So my price of £40 is not negotiable so please no offers
I'm in no rush to sell and may yet just attic it for a future home
I'll have it on and working for you when you come to collect
I will not post as its an electrical item so need you to see it working
