A lovely family in Merton is looking for an experienced and reliable Part Time Nanny Housekeeper to join their household. The position is Monday to Friday afternoons, 5 hours per day, with the flexibility to increase the hours during school holidays. The role will involve a combination of childcare and housekeeping duties, helping to keep the home organised and running smoothly.

The family have three children aged 8, 12 and 14, so the successful candidate should be confident caring for school-aged children and supporting their daily routines. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive and happy to take responsibility for the household tasks alongside childcare. A driver is needed for this position, and the candidate should be comfortable around pets.

Duties include:

caring for the children after school
collecting the children from school and activities
preparing snacks and simple meals
supporting the children with homework and school-related tasks
organising activities during free time
helping with the children’s daily routines
keeping the children’s bedrooms and belongings organised
keeping study and communal areas tidy
carrying out general housekeeping throughout the home
dusting and polishing surfaces
vacuuming and mopping floors
cleaning and maintaining bathrooms
cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
keeping living and dining areas clean and presentable
changing bed linen and making beds
laundering household clothes and linens
ironing and folding laundry
keeping wardrobes and cupboards organised
loading and unloading the dishwasher
keeping household supplies well stocked
carrying out occasional household errands
helping with pet-friendly household routines when required
ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy and well organised

Requirements:
