ASAP Start in Kensington for Experienced Live-out Housekeeper

A prestigious, fully staffed Kensington household seeks a highly experienced Live-out Housekeeper to join their established household team. Working Monday to Friday 8am–4pm, plus every other Saturday, this is a super opportunity to for an experienced Housekeeper.

The family of four, with children aged 13 and 9, employ a Nanny, Private Chef and Drivers.

The family seek a professional, proactive and self-motivated Housekeeper who takes initiative, anticipates the needs of the household and works confidently without the need for supervision. The successful candidate will be meticulous, discreet and highly organised, with extensive experience working in high-standard private households and the ability to work harmoniously alongside other staff.

Duties will include all aspects of housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management, including sending the appropriate pieces to the dry cleaners for specialist care. An excellent understanding of the appropriate cleaning methods and products for luxury finishes and high-quality surfaces, particularly within the kitchen and reception rooms, is essential.

The property benefits from a superbly equipped laundry room for all bedlinen and clothing care. The Housekeeper will also assist the Chef with loading and unloading the dishwasher and maintaining the kitchen to an immaculate standard.

When the family travel during the school holidays, the Housekeeper will not be required to accompany them but will instead take responsibility for the care and upkeep of the property during their absence.

The family have a cat and dog, so candidates must be pet-friendly and happy to assist with their care as required.

Salary £18 per hour net. Interviews to commence right away for an asap start.
