Live-out all round Housekeeper required for part time residence in Knightsbridge, £45k gpa, ASAP

Description

We are seeking a professional, discreet and detail-oriented Live-out Housekeeper/Assistant Butler to join a dedicated household team supporting a private residence in Knightsbridge, London.

This position is focused on delivering exceptional service when the Principals are in residence, including welcoming guests, serving meals and beverages to the highest standard and supporting private events in coordination with the in-house chef.

When the Principals are away, the role shifts to maintaining the household through light housekeeping, wardrobe care and ensuring the residence is always in pristine condition. Additional duties include hand-washing fine chinaware and glassware, managing inventories and upholding the highest levels of etiquette and appearance.

When the Principals are in residence, the usual schedule is from 12pm until after dinner (which is not typically late), with one day off per week on a rotational basis depending on the Principals’ needs.

When the Principals are not in residence, the working schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm with a lunch break and most weeks will include more than two days off.

The rota is issued weekly, by the Sunday before the new week begins.

The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and experienced team and must demonstrate prior experience in high-end household service, excellent organisational skills and a polished, service-driven attitude.

Salary on offer £45k gpa depending on experience.

Role to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.

Candidates must have experience working in private households or on yachts, with excellent knowledge of caring for delicate surfaces and garments, strong attention to detail and a professional approach.
