Experienced, warm and adaptable Live in Housekeeper/Nanny is sought by an relaxed family based in central Regent’s Park with B2 and baby 3 weeks.

This is predominantly a housekeeping position, with an approximate 65/35 split between housekeeping and nursery duties. The mother is currently on maternity leave until July/August 2027 and is very hands-on with the children. With a new baby in the family, a flexible approach will be essential, with someone who can see where help is most needed and move naturally between caring for the home and assisting with the children.

The family live in a five-storey period home comprising four bedrooms and four bathrooms, although currently only three bedrooms and two bathrooms are in regular use. High standards of housekeeping are required, including general cleaning and care of the home, laundry, folding and ironing, together with good wardrobe management and ensuring the house remains beautifully organised and well maintained.

The mother also enjoys doing some of the family laundry herself, and there is no requirement to iron bed linen or polish silverware. Help with family cooking would be very much appreciated, with someone confident preparing straightforward, healthy family meals particularly welcome.

The two yr old attends nursery two days per week and a nanny is employed on Fridays. At other times, the Housekeeper/Nanny should genuinely enjoy being with young children and be happy to organise outings, play and engage with him and assist with his day to day routine as required.

Spanish or French language skills would be a bonus, although are not essential.

The position is Tuesday to Saturday 7am–7pm, with excellent separate accommodation provided.

The family travel approximately once or twice a year and would appreciate someone who is happy to accompany them on these occasions.

This position would suit an experienced Housekeeper/Nanny who takes pride in maintaining a home to a high standard but is also warm, practical and genuinely enjoys children. Someone adaptable, proactive and happy to muck in, with the ability to recognise what needs doing without requiring direction, would fit particularly well with this informal family.

Salary: £55,000gpa.
