Live-In Domestic Couple in Hampshire

Description

On behalf of our private client in Hampshire is seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and proactive Domestic Couple to oversee the smooth running, care, and security of the property.

The principal is often away during the week, so the successful couple will take pride in maintaining the home and grounds to an exceptional standard.

The ideal candidates would be those with previous experience working as a domestic couple or within a private household, strong housekeeping, maintenance, and organisational skills, who are friendly, reliable, and discreet, love dogs, and hold a full clean driving licence (ideally both candidates).

Working Schedule: 5.5 days per week (you will need to work bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities

Full housekeeping and maintaining the home to a high standard
Cooking for the principal and occasional guests
Property maintenance, DIY, and general upkeep
Gardening and care of the vegetable garden
Swimming pool maintenance
Overseeing contractors and supporting estate staff
Driving and errands
Full care of the household dog (large breed but very well behaved)
Ensuring the property remains secure in the principal’s absence

Accommodation: Private self-contained flat attached to the main house with private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, and kitchen.

Salary: £60K gross per year combined

Start Date: ASAP but will wait for the right couple

Please note: Unfortunately pets and dependents are not considered.

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
