Live-in Domestic Couple

On behalf of our private client, we are looking for a professional Domestic Couple to manage a rural property in Jersey, set in an idyllic location with stunning views of the water. This is a safe and peaceful environment, ideal for those who enjoy the island lifestyle and its relaxed vibe.

The ideal couple would possess proven experience in private household management, demonstrating a strong track record of reliability and proficiency. Additionally, they would have a history of long-term tenure in previous roles, ensuring continuity and trust within the household.

Working days: 5 days per week (flexibility needed on occasion)

Main Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Housekeeping: General cleaning, tidying, and maintaining the home to the highest standards.
Cooking: Prepare nutritious family meals, catering to dietary needs where necessary.
Property Maintenance: Ensure the upkeep of the property, including maintenance of indoor and outdoor spaces.
Gardening: Regular garden care to keep the outdoor space neat and attractive.
Driving: Occasional driving, including picking up children from school (until September 2026, when they go to boarding school).
Pet Care: The client has 2 dogs and 2 cats. The couple should be comfortable with animals, as the client frequently travels and takes the dogs with him.

Accommodation: A one-bedroom coach house provided.

Additional guest cottage on the property. The staff are welcome to use this cottage for their family and friends' visits a few times a year.

Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 gross per year, depending on skills and experience.

Start Date: 1st May 2026

Additional Notes:

The client is open to a couple with pets, as long as they get along with the client’s dogs and cats. This is a unique opportunity for a couple are who is looking for a peaceful, rewarding lifestyle in an incredible setting.

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
