Live-in couple (free detached accommodation) housekeeper & gardener

Description

We are a relaxed family looking for a housekeeper/cleaner/gardener/maintenance couple to help part time (approx 10 hours each per week). In return we offer free accommodation (excluding bills) in the form of a fully refurbished detached cottage and garden in the grounds in a beautiful part of Surrey near the South Downs.

We have a dog and would consider a couple with a pet(s).

The couple/ sharers have to be able to drive and have their own car as we live in a fairly rural area where there is not much public transport.

We are looking for a pro-active couple/ sharers who can commit to 10 hours per week and are flexible with the type of duties. Typical jobs would include:

- laundry, cleaning, tidying, help in preparation for Air BnB for main house

- gardening (leaf clearing, grass cutting, hedge trimming, weeding, equipment maintenance, pool maintenance)

- occasional school pick ups in emergencies or airport lifts, house/ dog sitting when family away.

In exchange there is a lovely, refurbished two bedroom bungalow cottage with its own fenced garden; it has a kitchen/ diner, living room, shower room, two bedrooms (one double and one single), and small utility area.

Ideally the timing of the 2 hours per day would be 9am to 11am but we are flexible (although within typical working hours not in the early mornings or evenings).

Start/ move in date would be between mid to late November '25 to January '26.
