Fulltime housekeeper with some childcare

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Housekeeper with some childcare responsibilities to join our busy household. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment within our home while also providing attentive care to children (age ranges 1 to 12 years old) when needed. The candidate should be prepared to travel for between 6 and 8 weeks a year with the family. Candidates with a flexible approach to working hours (including some weekend and evening work) are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and tidying of all household areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Prepare meals or snacks for children and family members as required, maintaining nutritional standards and dietary preferences.
- Provide attentive childcare support for Mum - this will amount to a couple of hours a day.
- Coordinate with family members to errands related to household management or childcare needs.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with family members.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or related roles demonstrating excellent organizational skills. The family in particularly interested in candidates who have worked in top rated hotels, chalets or yachts.
- Prior childcare experience is highly desirable; ability to engage children positively and responsibly.
- Exceptional communication skills in English to interact clearly with family members.
