Looking for part-time cleaning work that fits around your week?

Time For You West Lothian is a local family-run business introducing cleaners to regular clients in private homes.

We’re looking for reliable cleaners to cover South Queensferry. You choose which of these areas you can cover, based on your availability and ability to travel reliably to clients’ homes for regular weekday visits, usually between 9am and 3pm.

Work that fits your availability

This is self-employed work, suited to someone looking for around 2–20 hours per week (more hours available upon request). It can also work well if you already clean for private clients and would like to add more regular homes.

We introduce suitable clients gradually, based on your availability and the areas you can cover. Hours depend on client demand and your availability, so a full schedule isn’t guaranteed from the start.

You’re paid £15 per hour directly by your clients on the day you clean.

What we’re looking for

Good cleaning skills, attention to detail and reliability are essential. Experience cleaning private homes for paying clients is preferred.

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently and communicating clearly with clients and with us.

A car is helpful but not essential. What matters is having a practical, reliable way to reach your agreed clients.

Once you accept a regular client, they need to be able to depend on you attending on the agreed day and time each week or fortnight.

The cleaning

Regular tasks include cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and mopping. Bed changing, laundry or ironing may also be included where agreed with the client beforehand.
