Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across several Airbnb properties across the city. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning our 2 bedroom apartments from top to bottom after the guest has checked out. They will ensure that all areas are left clean and tidy for the next guest. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

You will be self employed. Own transport is essential, free parking on site. Pay starts at £15/hour, the apartments should take no more than 2 hours maximum to clean. You could be cleaning up to 3 apartments per day. Start time is usually 10am, and the apartments need to be ready by 3pm, however we usually know what time guests are checking in, so if they are checking in later you will be advised. If guests leave early then you can start earlier. So a degree of flexibility is required.

Duties

Mostly weekend work from Friday to Sunday. However this can be increased to other days in the week depending upon your performance.
Perform cleaning tasks including changing bed linen, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet roll as needed.
Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines.
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a professional cleaner is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. We will attend with you on the first couple of cleans. We also provide you with a set of detailed instructions setting out the tasks you need to undertake to ensure that the apartments are cleaned to a high standard.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures is advantageous.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail is essential for this role.
