These vintage Cesca dining chairs were designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s as part of the Bauhaus movement and produced in Italy in the 1970s/1980s/1990s. Known for their timeless blend of natural cane, wood, and tubular cantilever steel, these chairs are a classic example of Bauhaus design, emphasizing simplicity and functionality.

Condition:
The chairs are in good vintage condition. The wood is in good shape but has some marks that can be repainted if desired (some people like the vintage aspect of the marks). There is no significant rust on the metal. The cane is in good condition; some parts are darker due to the age of the material, and there are minor details in the cane in some parts, but all of them are fully functional and do not need to be repaired just yet. I also do repairs in case this is wanted.

This listing includes 8 chairs. Please note that 5 chairs are perfectly matching, 1 of the chairs had a seat replaced, so it's slightly different, and the other 2 chairs are also perfectly matching but with slightly different tones on the cane.
