Description
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ITEM IS ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE, AND SO THE LISTING MAY BE ENDED AT ANY TIME.
An antique, likely Victorian, twin pedestal kneehole desk with a sage green leather skiver on top. The desk features 9 handy drawers which graduate up in size. This is made of a lightweight wood, I think pine, which has been given a mahogany coloured finish. The top simply lifts off the pedestals giving you 3 manageable pieces which are much easier to transport and move into your home than a single piece desk. Please note that the leather appears a bit darker in colour in some photos than it is in reality. This would be ideal for use as a laptop or writing desk.
In good antique condition with scratches and signs of use. The top is in good condition with lots of scratches, a few marks and general wear. There's a little wear to the woods finish on the front edge making it a bit lighter in colour.
Dimensions: Height 73 x Width 106 x Depth 59 cm.
Height from floor to top of kneehole: 58cm,
Width of kneehole: 50cm,
Internal height top drawers: 7 cm,
Internal height of bottom drawers: 11.5 cm
