This antique school desk is a unique piece of furniture that will add character to any room. The desk features a handpainted nautical design of the “SS.Atlantean 1845” ship and a Saltire Flat, it is complete with a folding seat and flip top for storage. The desk is made from a combination of metal and wood, and measures 79cm in length, 51in in width, and 62cm in height. The desk is mounted on a metal stand and features a fitted fold-up chair. The item is a genuine antique, manufactured between 1920-1949, and has a multicoloured hand painted finish. It has distressed patina due to age and wear but I think it adds to its Antique appeal! It would benefit from a little TLC like the metal as there is some rust and perhaps a coat of varnish to seal and protect the paintwork and wood. It has dinks, scratches and scratches ink marks plus some bonus dinosaur stickers in the inner lid! Could be Perfect for a child’s room! Thanks for looking!
