Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parcel Courier to join our delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting parcels across designated routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous delivery driver experience, seeking a dynamic and physically active position. The Parcel Courier plays a vital part in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.

We provide new, well spec vans, that you can take home and use to commute.

We provide and pay for the fuel.

This isn't an Amazon scam, your pay begins at £140 per day, working 6 days per week. No deductions. This is reviewed regularly.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Collect parcels from the warehouse or distribution centre and deliver them to specified locations within the scheduled timeframe.

Load and unload parcels, often requiring heavy lifting upto 27kg and manual handling.

Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including obtaining signatures where necessary.

Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during routes.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Follow company policies on health and safety

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.

Valid driver’s licence

Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with route navigation systems.

Warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting tasks.

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy parcels and standing for extended periods.
