Looking for a Loving Home for a Gentle Chinchilla
Our sweet chinchilla, a beautiful standard grey female, is ready to find her forever home.
Around 3 years old, she is healthy, has a gorgeous thick coat, and enjoys the typical chinchilla antics of bouncing, exploring her space, and taking dust baths. She came to us with great excitement, but as sometimes happens, my daughter’s interests have shifted, and we’ve realized we can’t give this lovely girl the dedicated attention she deserves.
To be completely honest, she hasn’t been handled frequently and would do best with a patient, gentle adult or a family with older children who understands small pets. She’s not a cuddly pet, but a delightful animal to care for and watch. With time and quiet patience, she could become more comfortable with interaction.
She will come with:
· Her spacious cage
· Her dust bath house and dust
· Food bowls, water bottle, and a starter supply of food/hay.
We are looking for the right person—someone with chinchilla experience or who has done thorough research. You must understand their specific needs for a cool, quiet environment, a proper diet, and spacious living.
