Description
This was from a series of 14 figures of children, with one boy and one girl representing each day of the week. Based on Freda Doughty's illustrations, the original seven figures were introduced in 1938. They proved so popular that a further seven figures were added to the range in 1954. I believe this is mid century. This is the boy for Thursdays Child has far to go and No 3260 with Royal Worcester mark inside. Note the scarf has a small chip as shown in the photo otherwise good condition for age, no other marks.
