Genuine Vintage 15" Large Siamese Cat Ceramic Figurine - 1970s Fireside Model
Beautiful, rare extra-large vintage Siamese Cat ceramic ornament. NOT a modern reproduction.
This is a tall 15" inch "fireside" version, which was originally bought for me as a Christmas gift from Romford around 1976. It has been lovingly kept by me inside a display cabinet since then.
Please see the photo of the base. The raw, porous clay texture, slip lines, and natural firing marks provide absolute proof of its genuine 1970s slip-cast origin.
Stunning glossy glaze with classic dark chocolate points, a cream body, and striking hand-painted blue eyes.
Excellent condition with NO chips, cracks, or repairs. The pointed ears, tail, and base are completely intact.
The Base: It seems like there is a very faint 3 digits stamped on the unglazed base if you look closely in the right light. You are welcome to come and view the siamese for yourself before buying!
