Interaction Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established automotive business in Peterborough to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service, managing vehicle service bookings, and acting as the key link between customers and the workshop team.

The Role As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from booking through to vehicle collection. You will work closely with technicians and workshop controllers to keep customers informed, manage expectations, and ensure work is completed efficiently.

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and confident communicating with customers in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities Welcoming customers and managing service and repair enquiriesBooking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repairsLiaising between customers and technicians regarding vehicle requirementsProviding service updates and communicating any additional work requiredPreparing estimates, quotations, and invoicesManaging customer expectations and ensuring a high standard of service throughoutProcessing job cards and maintaining accurate records on internal systemsCoordinating vehicle collections and handoversHandling customer queries and resolving issues professionallySupporting the wider aftersales team to achieve departmental targets Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Service Advisor or within an automotive customer service roleStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasksExperience using dealer management systems (DMS) is advantageousConfident working in a busy and target-driven environmentStrong administrative and IT skillsFull UK Driving Licence preferred What's on Offer?
