Personal Shopper & Delivery Driver | Letchworth, SG6 2HU | £18.00 per hour | Starts Tuesday 6 October | 8:00am to 9:00pm | Two-day temporary assignment | Own car required

Meridian Business Support is recruiting Personal Shopper & Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client to support the launch of a new supermarket fulfilment and home delivery service in Letchworth, SG6 2HU.

This is an active, customer-facing role combining order picking, retail support and customer deliveries. You'll work independently using a company-provided device to manage orders, pick products and deliver completed orders directly to customers when required.

What you'll be doing

Picking and packing customer orders accurately

Managing orders using a smartphone-style device

Checking orders before dispatch

Delivering customer orders using your own vehicle

Providing excellent customer service

Following clear processes and working independently

What we're looking for

Reliable, punctual and professional

Confident using apps, smartphones and touchscreen technology

Strong attention to detail

Customer-focused with good communication skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Online Order Picker, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Store Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Fulfilment Operative would be advantageous but is not essential. xjnqpsq

Requirements

Full UK driving licence

Access to a suitable, roadworthy car

Social, Domestic & Pleasure insurance

Ability to obtain Hire & Reward insurance before making deliveries

Right to Work documentation and photographic ID
