Despatch Supervisor, Monk Bretton Barnsley

Salary: £34,500 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday / 9:00am – 6:00pm

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Supervisor to oversee the movement of finished goods and raw materials throughout the site on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will ensure the efficient running of despatch operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy, process control and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day despatch operations.

* Manage the picking and preparation of finished goods for dispatch.

* Ensure raw materials are supplied to production areas as required.

* Maintain stock accuracy and inventory records.

* Manage despatch paperwork, documentation and process controls.

* Coordinate goods movements to support production and customer delivery requirements.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.

* Monitor team performance and drive operational efficiency.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and despatch function.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous supervisory experience within warehouse, logistics, despatch or manufacturing environments.

* Experience managing stock control and material movements.

* Strong organisational and communication skills.

* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. xjnqpsq

* Counterbalance Forklift Licence highly desirable.

* Experience with warehouse systems and inventory management would be advantageous
