Job Title: Account ManagerLocation: Bar HillSalary: 27-28K per annumHours: (Apply online only) Mon-Thurs (Apply online only) FridayAn exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a fast-paced environment, supporting customer service operations. The role involves managing customer relationships and overseeing the full order process from initial enquiry through to delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers via email and internal systemsManage end-to-end order processing, including amendments, rescheduling, returns, and repairsRespond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates on order statusLiaise with internal departments such as Production and Purchasing to ensure on-time deliveryMonitor and update order schedules, escalating any issues where necessaryMaintain accurate records across systems (pricing, quotations, customer data, BOMs, and drawings)Prepare and update customer quotations and support RFQsRaise credit and debit notes where requiredReview and manage the customer order book, ensuring all changes are communicated effectivelySupport stock takes, audits, and sales forecasting activitiesAttend production meetings and contribute to operational planningIdentify potential issues and propose solutions to improve customer satisfaction and efficiencySkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a customer service or sales support roleStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to build relationshipsProactive, self-motivated, and solution-focusedStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g. SAP) desirableUnderstanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes desirableBenefits25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service)Early finish on FridaysPrivate healthcare and dental coverLife assurance and income protectionEmployee assistance programmeBonus and salary progression schemesEmployee discount platformEnhanced family leaveCompany events
