Hi, I’m Kate at Blue Waves Counselling. I work online and in-person at The Good Life Therapy Centre in Sowton (EX1 3RU) with free off road parking and free hot/cold drinks and snacks whilst you wait.

I help teens, young people and adults with a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-confidence, OCD, life transitions, relationship issues, sleep problems, grief, trauma and loss.

Is life an uphill battle, but not sure why? I understand how tough it is to take that step and ask for help. I can help you identify and understand what’s going on for you. The anxiety eases, the brain fog lifts, you feel calmer and know yourself better.

Counselling is not only for times of crisis. I can help you learn more about yourself, improve your relationships, and build a happier future.

After 25 years working in education, my wealth of experience ensures I am well-placed to help struggling teachers, teens and young people. I hold an advanced DBS, an advanced diploma in counselling and an MSc in Psychology.

My approach is empathic, client-centred, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each person. Whether you’re seeking help for a specific challenge or general emotional support, I am here to guide and support your emotional well-being.
