Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits

A successful name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is recruiting in the South East of England. They are seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer, who can confidently perform a range of pre-planned maintenance duties. You will be working in and around the M25, servicing a mixed portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority premises. Our client is well-known for their fantastic further training opportunities, including into Legionella Risk Assessing and Plumbing. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages, including a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

* Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines

* Ideally will have industry-related training / qualifications

* Flexibility to travel within the role

* Good literacy and numeracy skills

* Proficient in using IT software

The Role:

* Showerhead disinfections

* Flushing on little used outlets

* Inspections, cleans and chlorinations of cold water storage tanks

* TMV servicing and failsafe checks

* Calorifier blowdowns

* Water sampling

* Temperature monitoring

* Updating site logbooks

* Adhering to set schedules and deadlines
