Location: Plymouth (on-site)
Salary: 40,000 per annum

About the Role
Our client, a well-established engineering business in Plymouth, is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate site activities. This role involves leading site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, while adhering to Health & Safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to maintain high-quality project delivery.

The Role
Plan, supervise and coordinate site activities involving company personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Ensure all personnel work in accordance with Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements.
Liaise with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors, escalating issues where required.
Maintain project documentation, site equipment, vehicles, and working areas to company standards.

Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role.
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Person Specification
Essential Experience
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role.

Essential Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Experience within fabrication, structural steelwork, engineering or industrial projects.
Relevant site-based qualifications such as SSSTS, SMSTS or CSCS.
Experience working on projects involving welding, refurbishment or industrial installations.
