Site Manager – £1.2m Georgian House Refurbishment

Location: Wapping, London

Project: £1.2m Internal Refurbishment

I’m currently working with a specialist contractor who is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full ownership of a £1.2m internal refurbishment of a Georgian house in Pier Head, Wapping.

This is a traditional build project with a strong heritage element, so we're looking for someone who genuinely understands construction and has the experience to manage the project from start to finish.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the project, managing the site team, subcontractors, programme and quality through to completion.

The ideal candidate will be:

From a strong trade background, with a good understanding of traditional construction and build methods.

Experienced in managing high-quality refurbishment projects, ideally within period or heritage properties.

Client-facing and confident, able to build strong relationships with the client, consultants and project team.

*

Commercially aware, with a good understanding of project costs, programme and delivery.

*

Strong on site management, sequencing and subcontractor coordination.

Able to maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and site organisation. xjnqpsq

Experience using MS Project would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will need to be available to start on site during the week commencing 16 November 2026.
