Site Manager Braintree 3 Positions Available Residential New Build GBP60,000 GBP70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint three Site Managers across three new developments in Braintree, Essex.

Each development will consist of approximately traditional-build units, offering the opportunity to join a well-established project team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential development.

The Role Working as part of the site delivery team and reporting into the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your section of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the wider site team, subcontractors and trades to maintain progress and resolve any issues throughout the build.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day construction activities across your area of the developmentCoordinating subcontractors, trades and site activitiesEnsuring construction is delivered in line with programme and build specificationsMaintaining high standards of quality throughout the buildMonitoring progress and reporting to the Senior Site ManagerManaging health & safety requirements and maintaining a safe working environmentCarrying out regular inspections and quality checksCoordinating with other members of the site team to ensure smooth project deliverySupporting the delivery of the development through to completion and handover About You We are looking for experienced Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction.

You will ideally have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential new buildStrong knowledge of traditional construction methodsExperience managing subcontractors and tradesA good understanding of programme, quality and health & safetyStrong communication and organisational skillsA proactive approach to site management and problem solvingRelevant construction management qualifications, ideally including an NVQ Level 6 For more information contact Jenny Saban in our Cambridge office
