Extensive construction industry experience with at least 5 years working as a Site Manager

Proven track record delivering lift refurbishment, M&E upgrade, commercial refurbishment or live environment projects

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations, health & safety requirements, permit-to-work systems and quality control procedures within live retail or commercial environmentsKey Skills:

Effective communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to organise and manage project schedules

Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of refurbishment works to a retail goods lift within a live shopping centre. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, and maintaining programme and quality standards throughout the project. xjnqpsq Previous experience delivering lift refurbishment, M&E upgrade or commercial refurbishment projects within occupied or live operational environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Attend and contribute to site progress meetings

Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager

Maintain site records, permits and project documentation

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily safety briefings

Coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors and specialist trades

Monitor programme and resolve site issues to maintain project progress

Coordinate materials, plant and labour to ensure efficient delivery of works

Liaise with the client, shopping centre management and other key stakeholders

Oversee testing, commissioning and completion of the lift refurbishment works

Manage inspections and promptly address any identified defects or compliance issues

Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed in accordance with specifications

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, permits and asbestos-related procedures
