Site-Based Role

An established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and small works projects on a long-term site-based contract in Barrow-in-Furness.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and secure contract with a strong pipeline of ongoing works within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and project works from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong M&E background and be comfortable managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors within a live operational environment.

Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day site operationsCoordinating planned and reactive maintenance worksManaging subcontractors and site teamsEnsuring health & safety compliance across all worksPlanning and scheduling labour and resourcesConducting site inspections and quality checksManaging RAMS and site documentationAttending client meetings and progress reviewsMonitoring programme delivery and project performanceSupporting commercial teams where requiredRequirements

Previous experience as a Site ManagerStrong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) backgroundValid SMSTS qualificationGood understanding of health & safety legislationExperience within maintenance, FM, refurbishment or construction environmentsAble to manage multiple workstreams and subcontractorsStrong communication and client-facing skillsFull UK Driving LicencePackage
