Senior Site Manager - West London

Location: Near Hammersmith / Shepherd's Bush

Duration: 21 September - 30 September

Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Freelance

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a busy commercial project in West London, working on a short-term package involving the closure of an existing retail unit.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager who is comfortable working in a live, high-profile environment and can take ownership of site operations, health & safety and subcontractor coordination.

The Role

Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractors

Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme

Maintain high standards of health & safety

Coordinate trades and manage site logistics

Liaise with the project team and relevant stakeholders

Ensure site records, RAMS and permits are maintained

Drive quality and ensure works are completed to the required standard

Maintain a professional approach when working within a busy public-facing environment

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial, retail or refurbishment projects

SMSTS - essential

First Aid - essential

Strong understanding of site health & safety

Confident managing subcontractors and site teams

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Able to work independently and take responsibility for the site

A key part of the role

The project operates a strict site safety system, including a yellow/red card process. xjnqpsq Candidates must have a strong safety record and take site rules and procedures seriously.

Hours: 7am-5pm

Location: Hammersmith, West London

Start: Monday 21 September

Finish: Wednesday 30 September
