Site Manager - Commercial New Build Towcester, Northamptonshire

Start: September 2026 Freelance / Contract Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a steel frame and glazing development near Towcester, Northamptonshire.

This is a substantial commercial construction project featuring a multi-span steel frame structure and an extensive package of large-scale glazing, requiring a Site Manager with proven experience delivering similar projects from start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of site operationsCoordination and supervision of subcontractorsEnsuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standardsManaging health & safety compliance across the projectLiaising with project teams, suppliers and stakeholdersMonitoring progress and resolving site issues as they ariseRequirements:

Proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial construction projectsExperience working on steel frame buildingsKnowledge of glazing and envelope packages would be highly advantageousSMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essentialStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout deliveryWhat's on Offer:
