Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a temporary ongoing project based in Hexham. The successful candidate will oversee the conversion of a former restaurant into residential flats, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Job Description

Manage day-to-day site operations from start to finish. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations. Monitor project progress, quality, and programme deadlines. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections. Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Maintain site records, reports, and documentation. Resolve on-site issues efficiently and effectively. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to specification. Proven experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment, conversion, or residential construction projects. Valid SMSTS certificate. Valid CSCS Card. Valid First Aid at Work certificate. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors. Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation. Full UK driving licence preferred.
