Site Manager – Commercial Office Fit Out (Holiday Cover)

Coventry | £250–£275 per day | Thursday 20th August – Tuesday 1st September (inclusive)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a commercial office fit out project in Coventry. This is a short-term freelance/contract position running from Thursday 20th August through to Tuesday 1st September inclusive, covering the permanent site manager while they are on leave.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the fit out programme continues to progress safely, on time, and to the required quality standard during the cover period.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing daily site operations on a live commercial office fit out

Managing subcontractors and trades on site, maintaining programme

Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with site rules and RAMS

Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings

Monitoring quality of works and liaising with the client/design team as required

Maintaining site records, diaries and reporting progress to the wider project team

Acting as first point of contact for any site issues during the cover period Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit out projects

Valid SMSTS certificate

Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Valid CSCS card (Black/Gold Manager card preferred)

Strong communication and organisational skills

Able to hit the ground running with minimal xjnqpsq handover Details
