Description

Site Manager - Facades

Salary and Package

GBP70,000 GBP80,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits.

Location

Based in Olney, with projects across Bristol, South Wales, London and Northampton. Regular travel to project sites will be required.

Full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

About the Company

The business is a specialist facade contractor based in Olney, delivering building envelope solutions across the UK. Its services include facade design, rainscreen cladding, insulated render systems, fire remediation and metal roofing. The company works across commercial and residential projects, including new-build, refurbishment, recladding and high-rise schemes, with experience across healthcare, education and commercial property. Its projects require careful coordination, technical understanding and a strong focus on quality, compliance and safe installation.

Why Join Them

The company has a varied and established project workload, with schemes ranging from approximately four weeks to 12 months in duration.

For an experienced Site Manager, the role offers responsibility across different project types and specialist facade systems rather than being limited to one particular area of work.

There is regular exposure to rainscreen, render and wider external envelope works, alongside responsibility for programme, subcontractors, quality and site safety. The position offers permanent employment and the opportunity to build a long-term role within an established specialist contractor.

About the Role

The Site Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of specialist facade and roofing projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme and specification.

The Site Manager will manage a mixture of projects involving systems including rainscreen cladding and render. Project durations can range from approximately four weeks to 12 months.

The Site Manager will travel to projects across Bristol, South Wales, London and Northampton, taking ownership of site operations and coordinating the people and resources required to maintain progress.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the day-to-day running of facade and roofing projects. Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site activities. Managing rainscreen cladding and render works. Overseeing associated external envelope and roofing activities. Planning and monitoring works against the project programme. Coordinating labour, materials and site resources. Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with RAMS. Maintaining required quality standards throughout the project. Monitoring progress and identifying potential delays or issues. Working with subcontractors and project teams to resolve site issues. Maintaining accurate site records and progress reports. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project requirements. Maintaining clear communication between site and office teams. Taking responsibility for health and safety standards on site. The successful Site Manager will have previous experience managing construction sites, ideally within facades, roofing or the wider external envelope sector. Experience across rainscreen and render would be particularly useful.

SMSTS, SSSTS and CSCS qualifications are required. A full UK driving licence is also essential due to the geographical spread of the projects.

Summary

The Site Manager role offers GBP70,000 GBP80,000 per annum, permanent employment and a varied workload across Bristol, South Wales, London and Northampton. It would suit an experienced Site Manager who is comfortable managing specialist construction works and wants responsibility across a mixture of facade, rainscreen, render and roofing projects.
