Site Agent – Civils Infrastructure Project

Location: Edinburgh

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to join the delivery team on a major civils infrastructure project in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, looking to take responsibility for the successful delivery of site activities.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of works on site, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing site operations and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.

*

Planning and sequencing works to meet programme requirements.

*

Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project specifications.

*

Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.

*

Working closely with the Project Manager, engineers and commercial team.

*

Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.

*

Managing site records, inspections and quality documentation.

*

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

*

Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

*

Proven experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Supervisor within civil engineering or infrastructure.

*

A strong understanding of construction processes, temporary works and site management.

*

Experience working on large-scale civils, utilities, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.

*

Relevant industry qualifications, with SMSTS and a suitable site safety qualification expected.

*

CSCS or equivalent industry certification. xjnqpsq
