We are currently seeking an experienced Shuttering Foreman to join a long-term construction project in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Duration: 8+ months (with potential extension)

Job Type: Freelance / Contract

Start: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate a team of shuttering carpenters on site. Plan and oversee daily shuttering activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to programme. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the project. Liaise with the Site Manager and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct daily briefings and ensure all operatives adhere to site procedures and company standards. Requirements

Proven experience as a Shuttering Foreman or Foreman supervising shuttering/formwork operations. Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification. Valid CSCS Card. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage site teams, coordinate workloads, and maintain productivity. Good understanding of construction health and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with an initial duration of 8+ months, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
