We are looking for an experienced Service Locator to join a busy project in Plymouth.

Monday to Friday08:00 - 17:00 (42.5 hrs/week)August Start12 months plus

Your new role

You'll be working on a live construction site, locating underground services before digging starts. This includes scanning, marking out services, and making sure teams work safely around them.

What you'll be doing:

Locating and marking underground services (CAT & Genny / GPR)Issuing and managing permits to digBriefing site teams on service locationsMaking sure work is carried out safely and to permit rulesKeeping markings and records up to dateWhat you'll need to succeed

CSCS cardBPSS Clearance requiredExperience in utility locating (minimum 2+ years ideal)Knowledge of CAT & Genny / GPR equipmentUnderstanding of safe digging practices (HSG47)Good communication on siteOther requirements:

Must be eligible for security clearance (5 years UK residency + valid passport)
