Senior Quantity Surveyor - Sizewell C

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk

Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 + Company Car + Private Healthcare + Gym Membership + Performance Bonus

Daily Responsibilities:

Taking full commercial ownership of key Sizewell C accounts from award through to final accountAdministering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts across multiple work packagesManaging CVRs, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow performanceLeading valuations, payment applications and commercial negotiationsPreparing and agreeing compensation events, variations, remeasures and extensions of timeProviding contractual advice to project and operational teamsIdentifying commercial risks and opportunities and implementing mitigation strategiesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline (mandatory)Minimum 5-8 years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction, civil engineering, geotechnical or specialist subcontracting sectorsMinimum 5 years' post-qualification experience administering NEC3/4 contracts, including Options A, B, C and EAt least 3 years' experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level

Required Skills:

Excellent communication, report-writing and interpersonal skillsAbility to obtain and maintain BPSS/SC security clearance for the Sizewell C projectFull UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly to siteAdvanced MS Excel skillsExperience using commercial management platforms such as CEMAR, Oracle Unifier or FastDraft would be advantageous
