Senior Quantity Surveyor | New Build Care Home (2 years) | Site-Based (Kingsclere) | Freelance (Inc Ltd Co)
Step into a live commercial seat on a £10m new build care home project in Kingsclere, working alongside the Contracts and Project Managers to steer the job through to competition. Future projects on the rise with additional current sites for you to get stuck into.
You’ll be the commercial lead on site—handling valuations, subcontractor payments, procurement, and CVRs—while reporting to the Commercial Director. This isn’t one to hide behind emails. You’ll be part of the day-to-day delivery, making sure the job stays commercially tight and structurally smooth.
The Role
• £10m new build care home project
• Site-based role alongside PM and Contracts Manager
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Monthly valuations and payments
• CVRs and reporting to Commercial Director
What They’re Looking For
• 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor
• Background in care homes or residential schemes
• Confident managing packages, payments, and CVRs
• Site-based, proactive, and commercially sharp
